As we celebrate Dia Los Muertos and All Hallow's Eve, better known as Halloween, we're reminded of the spirit world. The world of the spirit is usually considered "unseen" unless you're able to discern it with your intuitive abilities.
This month I invite you to refine your intuitive abilities by practicing your clairsentience. Everyone is born with clairsentience. Clairsentience or "clear-feeling" is the ability to sense the energy around you with your emotions, feelings and sensations. Clairsentience allows you to sense the spirit world. Remember, spirit energy is just another aspect of energy. For example, have you ever walked into a room and felt uneasy? It was your clairsentience alerting you to an energetic essence. Have you ever had a conversation withs someone and then all of a sudden felt uncomfortable? This too is your clairsentience in action. The feelings you felt were aspects of your clairsentience - you felt the energy of the person's words, their tone and the overall vibes associated with the conversation.
Pay attention to your "clear-feeling" abilities and notice the subtleties of your feelings and focus on interpreting them as accurately as you can. Take particular notice of when your feelings shift within you. Tuning into your feelings when you're interacting with others will help you strengthen your clairsentience. The more you practice, the better mastery you'll have with your gift of clairsentience and your ability to interpret the unseen world of energy and spirit around you.
So often we go through life speeding through it, marking off our To Do List then before we've realized it, we haven't taken time to enjoy the day, the week, the month. This month I want to encourage you to take time each day to reflect on what you've done. It's YOUR LIFE, you should never be too busy to reflect on it.
Part of enjoying life is enjoying the time we spend creating it and enjoying reflecting on the experiences we've had. Before retiring to bed, reflect on your emotions from the day and the shared moments you had with others. Tune into your body and learn what kind of a day it had. Tune into your spiritual self to see how it's doing. Does it need more prayer? Does it need more quiet time? Does it need more fun? Our spiritual development is just as important as nurturing our bodies, our emotions, and our relationships.
One of the best parts of our spiritual development is that it nurtures our relationship with our soul and our relationship with God. We were all created by a gorgeous Divine energy, therefore, we all have that same gorgeous Divine energy within us. Reflect on this notion this month and I KNOW that your life will experience beautiful changes.
This is such a wonderful time of year - you can still enjoy the summer warmth while getting back into the swing of things as school resumes. Autumn is such a gorgeous time of year with so much wisdom to share with us. The changing season brings changing hues inspiring us to appreciate the subtle changes in life. Examine the beauty that you've created in your life knowing that YOU created it and that there is more to come. This is how powerful you are!
Just as the leaves change color from green to orange to red to yellow and then eventually fall...your life follows the same course. Circumstances are always changing in life that require you to allow that which no longer serves you to fall away to allow the space for what is soon to be coming. This is the cycle of life and the only constant in life - regeneration.
You can always count on the continuity of life. Just as the leaf changes color and falls off of the branch, a new leaf always grows back the following spring. The same continuity lies within you...your cells change, your emotions change, your circumstances change, and your life changes - yet you're still the same soul.
As you move into this autumn season be sure to take the time to notice all of the wonder and colorful beauty around you. Trust that more beauty is on its way. Remember, you're already blessed.
Healing with sound is such a lovely modality and so instantaneous. Have you ever noticed that a song instantly affects your mood? How many times have you been in the car when a song comes on the radio and your first reaction is, "OH, I LOVE this song!" and turn up the volume. Or, the contrary, "Ugh! I can't stand this song!" and you quickly change the station.
Music is visceral. We're wired as human beings to respond to the vibration of sound. Sound is vibration and vibration affects us. The whole concept of healing and living more spiritual lives involves changing our vibration.
The beauty of music is that it's so powerful and easy to access. Throughout human history music has been an important part of every culture. Every culture everywhere on the planet has expressed itself through songs, instruments, and composition. It's as simple as a parent singing a lullaby to their child. Whatever kind of music speaks to your soul take the time to listen to it. Allow yourself, your cells and your vibration to embrace the healing that happens with music. If you've ever been to a concert you've witnessed the magic of music affecting the collective consciousness of the audience. If you haven't been listening to music lately treat yourself and start doing so - it's an instant mood changer. When we listen to music physiological changes happen in our bodies - we become calmer, more energized, and more inspired.
If you need to lift your mood listen to music that inspires you to dance. If you feel off balance or like you're coming down with a cold then listen to music containing the Selfeggio frequencies. The power of music is infinite and healthy!
