Beginning Your Spiritual Journey

Learning how to connect with and discern various forms of energy is exciting and can sometimes be overwhelming. You are becoming more attuned to a different way of communicating - a different language, a different vibration. As a result, many folks have different reactions: some are mildly afraid of what they cannot understand or explain with their limited language abilities, some are shocked, and many are inspired and humbled. All are normal responses for entering and discovering the Spiritual realm. Being bestowed with this knowledge is both powerful and humbling. Maintaining humility during this process as you evolve and become more proficient in working with spiritual energy is critical for your evolution and the collective.

​Ego can be a great inhibitor because when you believe that you’re the one responsible for the healing and the miracles that occur you are establishing an attitude of ego-bias and can go so far as creating a “God Complex.” Should this occur the Universe, in concert with your higher self, will surely give you (and anyone who is ego-biased) a loving reminder of the True Source. It is not to punish or shame, but is the Universal Law of Balance. It's important to maintain the balance between your human self and your spiritual self as a conscious being. This concept is completely different than acknowledging and knowing another Truth ~ that we are all Divine. 

We’re in harmony when we understand that each one of us is Divine and remember that just like the gentleness of love; humility honors the omnipotence of and the source of Divine energy. For example, it's important to honor the power and force of the ocean for if you don't you can subject yourself to a perilous situation if you swim too far out, ignore riptides, etc. Humility keeps everything in perspective regarding the grander scheme of the Universal Plan and infinite power of All that Is.

​Sometimes, others may unfortunately start judging others and feel superior to those who do not recognize or are unaware of the unseen realm of energy. Some folks begin to believe that they have the “inside scoop” and are more spiritual or evolved than others because of this newly discovered information. They also may become overly confident because of their new found ability to connect with the higher frequencies at will. That is not what this work is about. It is about integrity, respect, humility and forever strengthening your connection to unconditional love and disseminating it to others, the world, and the Universe. This is one reason why it’s challenging to teach esoteric information to others and why those who desire to learn it come when their souls are truly ready to receive and understand this infinite wisdom.
